Southeast Education Center
The Southeast Education Center, located at 39637 260th Ave. in Pittsfield, Illinois, offers baccalaureate transfer as well as career/technical programs, with classes available both day and evening. Through a combination of traditional, structured courses and individualized open learning coursework, a student can take all coursework necessary to complete an associate degree at the SEC.
Programs
- Associate Degree (first two years of a bachelor’s degree) through a combination of classroom and online learning
- Certified Nursing Assistant Training
- Nursing prerequisite courses
- Truck Driver Training
- College course for high school students are offered at the SEC and in nearby high schools
- GED and Literacy courses

- Placement testing (for JWCC and other colleges and universities)
- Pearson Vue Testing Center (testing for professional certifications, GED, other universities)
- Academic tutoring
- Career Services for all community members and students (job search, résumé, cover letter, interviewing)
